Looking for volunteers for an informal Olympic Lifting meet we are looking to run on August 18th at CFH...
The meet will be open to anyone from the gym and any members from other gyms in the area along with any friends or family who want to try to compete or help the meet run smoother... We have a tentative start time of 9am for Women & 10-10:30 am for the Men depending on how many people are interested... There will probably be a small $5 entry fee...
We are hoping to have medals for the top 5 overall lifters (men & women) based on their weight lifted between the snatch and clean & jerk divided by their body weight...
We were also thinking about a community get together at Jimmy's Egg on 82nd and Dodge after the meet to get some "family time" in :)
Post a comment or let Brandon or I know if you are interested... We would like to have a complete list of all people who are participating at least 3 days before the meet...
