Little "distance" WOD plus skill work...
This is meant to be a WOD where you keep a moderate pace, but challenge your "norms"... If you're used to a lower box then try a higher one, used to scaling one of these movements then don't... You get the idea :)
SKILL: 10-15 minutes
WALL FACING HSPUs, Pistol Squats & Some KB snatch technique... We won't be covering any muscle up progressions due to the lack of time so if you have them then you will do them in the WOD... If you don't yet then you will perform a scale option instead...
WORKOUT:
Perform As Many Rounds As Possible In THIRTY MINUTES Of The Following:
1 Wall Walk HSPU (Kip, If You Can :))(Scale to a regular wall walk, if needed)
2 Burpee Muscle Ups (Bar OR Rings)(Scale to jumping ring MUs OR Jumping Bar MUs)
3 Box Jumps (30"/36")(Scale to a height that makes you "uncomfortable")
4 Alternating WEIGHTED Pistols (26#/35# KB)(Scale to a LOW height Box Pistol)
8 KB OR DB Single Arm Snatches (53#/70#)(Do all reps on left arm first, THEN right arm)
We will give you time to practice all these movements so pick the HARDEST version of this workout that will allow you to keep moving, but push it close to missing reps and break new ground on all these movements... COME IN WITH A PLAN!!
REMEMBER THIS IS FOR ROUNDS AND FOR QUALITY OF MOVEMENT...
