SKILL/FUN: 15 minutes
You guessed it... Single Arm Push Up Progressions!
(There are lots of ways to scale this... Try to run through the progressions on the video first then you can try a band assisted version of the same progressions & lastly a single arm BAR push up is another option)
TEAM TOTAL: 19 minutes
In groups of TWO or possibly THREE if we have 14 or more in a class perform as much WORK as possible with you and your partner working ONE person at a time...
WOD #1 - As many CALORIES on the Rower as possible between you & your partner in 5 minutes
REST 2 MINUTES (Record scores)
WOD #2 - As many KB Swings (35#/53#) as possible between you & your partner in 5 minutes
REST 2 MINUTES (Record scores)
WOD #3 - As many Toes 2 Bar as possible between you & your partner in 5 minutes
(Record scores and tally results!)
We will score each of these WODs individually for each group and determine who is the best team of the day by adding up all three placings together for each group on each WOD... Confused? Haha... Here's an example... The goal in the end is to have the LEAST amount of placing points possible because 1st place = 1 point, 2nd = 2 points, and so on...
Here's an example:
Group 1 places 1st, 7th & 4th which means they scored 12 total points
Group 2 places 4th, 3rd & 1st which means they scored 8 total points
Group 3 places 8th, 1st & 5th which means they scored 14 total points
SOOOOO... Since Group 2 has the fewest points they win between the three groups since they have the LEAST amount of points... Sounds backward, but it works! :)
So no slacking because it could come back to hurt your on a different WOD... We will try to seperate groups by Toes 2 Bar/Knee Raise abilities if we can so we can keep things consistent and fair...
