Fun little combo of lifting and a classic Crossfit WOD...
First thing... The primary goal of this workout is to establish a new 3 rep max Deadlift, but we are doing it under fatigue AND time pressure...
WORKOUT:
Perform 5 Total Rounds Of The Following With Exactly 3:45 Rest Between Every Round:
With A Running 75 Second Clock Perform:
1 Round Of "Cindy"
5 Pull Ups
10 Hand Release Push Ups
15 Air Squats
Then with the time remaining on the clock attempt to get 3 reps of Deadlift in before the clock runs out attempting to move the Deadlift weight up on each round ending with the heaviest weight possible on the FINAL SET... Start around 80% of your current Deadlift 1RM on Round 1...
HERE ARE THE RULES:
If you do not get three successful Deadlift reps in before the 75 second clock expires then that set doesn't count, but you don't have to make this round back up...
You MUST DROP ALL Deadlift reps on every set...
If you don't reach the range of motion standards in the pull ups, push ups and squats during your round of Cindy the Deadlift set, even if you hit all three reps doesn't count...
You can scale the Cindy reps to either of the following if 5/10/15 will take you too long...
