Time for some power testing!
We are going to be strict on the time cap for this one so come in with a plan!!
POWER:
Power Clean 1RM
(15 minutes only!)
Follow this weight progression if you have a an old max to beat:
- 1st Set - 65% x2-3 Reps
- 2nd Set - 80% x1-2 Reps
- 3rd Set - 90% x1 Rep
- 4th Set - 95-100% x1 Rep
- 5th Set - 100%+
- 6th Set - 100%+
WORKOUT:
50 Overhead Squats (65#/95#)
30 Toes To Bar
(5 minutes only!)
As usual, you can scale the weight as needed on this one... It should be a light to moderate weight for the Overhead Squat (aim for 60-70% of you best 1RM)... Scale the T2B to knees to elbow or a simple leg raise...
One last scale option... REPS... If 50/30 isn't finishable for you in 5 mins scale to 40/20 instead...
