Most Of The Issues With Getting The New Location Underway Are Falling Into Place...
1. New Accounts Have Been Set Up So From Now On All Checks Can Be Made To VanBeek Fitness & When We Affiliate I'll Let You Know What The New Name Will Be...
2. Insurance Policies Are Being Formed & Should Be Signed By The End Of This Week...
3. We Will Start Lease Negotiations For The Location On 62nd & Center Shortly There After...
4. Gaining Crossfit Affiliation Before The End Of This Year...
5. Once All That Is In Place We Can Order Equipment & Signage...

Now Here's Where The Snag I Ran Into Last Night Comes In... We Checked On Possible Permits & Certificates That Might Be Needed To Occupy This Particular Building & This Building Is Zoned For General Industrial Work... This Means That We Would Have To Request A Special Usage Permit Since We Will Be Using This Building For A Different Purpose... HERE IN LIES THE ISSUE... We Can Not Get Approval For This Permit & The Certificate Of Occupancy Until March 7, 2012... We Have Emailed All City Council Members & A Few Lawyers To See If This Process Can Be Sped Up, But No Word Yet... 

Looks Like We Might Have To Wait At Least 8-10 Weeks More... Sorry For This Issue... We Had No Idea A Simple Zoning Change Would Take This Long Or Be This Much Of A Hassle...
